High School

 
As a crucial link between the school and the university system, High School emphasizes educating in autonomy.
After completing this stage, the profile of The Montessori School student is created and students have the appropriate tools to face adulthood and join a higher education program.

High School includes ninth, tenth and eleventh grades. Students are able to choose the higher education path they wish to pursue, with the support of our career orientation and entrepreneurship programs.

This stage encourages the development of autonomy, independence, and a higher level of understanding that help students exercise freedom with responsibility. They are able to join differential groups in the areas of Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology, English and French, according to their interests, expectations, and strengths. Likewise, they work in self-reflection and value-centered processes that help them define their future and face the world with the soundness of the education offered by The Montessori School, which exposes them to a broader view of the world, according to the demands placed by globalization.

Students participate in institutional projects such as: Big Brother, Ecological Project, First Aid Brigade, Social Work and Student Council which help them strengthen their leadership skills. As students develops their cognitive skills, they are capable of completing longer and more complex projects and exploring topics at a deeper level. The school helps them prepare for prestigious exams such as: F.C.E., DELF and CAMBRIDGE certification.

High School offers students both internal and external opportunities to participate in sports activities, cultural and academic events and community service programs.
