The Montessori School privileges and supports programs that are directed to aid the most vulnerable and at-risk population. Among them:
Hall “Pablito” at Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital. Fun activities for children admitted for treatments that require long periods of hospitalization.
Bambi’s Home: Play activities for at-risk children that have suffered neglect and abuse.
Leadership in activities proposed by PAS (Social Action Project): A group of students with outstanding leader characteristics guide and encourage the implementation and accomplishment of activities proposed by PAS.
Participation in Environmental Projects: Aware of its social responsibility, The Montessori School is committed to projects that strengthen citizen’s duty to preserve, maintain, and improve the environment.
Participation in disaster prevention plans: with the support and training offered by the Red Cross, The Montessori School has created a Student Brigade that is trained in first aid and support of emergency plans of evacuation in case of disaster.
